I have 15 years experience of financial accounting, management accounting and book-keeping across a variety of business sectors. My interest is in helping businesses to get their financial record-keeping as efficient as possible so that financial information is there at the press of a button. The purpose of which is to help business owners make business decision-making quicker and easier.

I have worked with a number of companies to set up their accounting systems from scratch, and with a number of others to migrate their accounts onto platforms such as Sage.

Moving into operations and business consultancy I worked for 8 years with an international consultancy which specialised in business strategy and leadership development.

As Programme Manager I put together teams and helped develop trainings and workshops for multi-national companies including Telefonica, BASF, METRO, and AkzoNobel.

Through my time there I gained accreditation in a number of tools and methodologies which I now use in support of small and medium sized businesses and teams. These include workshop facilitation, culture tools and team dynamic / personality profiling.

In addition to my finance and business know-how I also have an MSc in Digital Media Production from Oxford Brookes University and a BA in Media Studies from the University of Stirling. Where opportunities arise I  also work with companies in the creation of online video and branded content.
